ifilm to air new action ‘Cry Out in Silence’

‘Cry Out in Silence’ series has been scheduled to premiere on ifilm on Saturday evening.

Directed by Mehdi Fakhimzadeh, the first episode of the new action-crime series will hit the air at 18:00 GMT on February 15. The following episodes will come to you every evening at the same announced time. Each episode of the show will be repeated three times the next day at 00:00, 09:00 and 15:00 all GMT times.

“A female forensic medical examiner has taken on a case regarding impure Ecstasy pills that have killed at least fifteen people so far. An ex-con who’s just come back to Tehran after years of exile is doing his best to start a new life with his family, but he accidentally gets mixed up with the drug dealers. It seems like he will never be able to make a clean break from his past”, reads a brief synopsis for the flick.

Notable among the cast members of the show are Fariba Kosari, Kamran Tafti, Sara Khoueeniha, Mohammad Sadeqi, Farhad Qaemian and Leila Barkhordari.

Fakhimzadeh, the director, has also played one of the starring roles of the 15-episode series.

‘Cry Out in Silence’ will be replacing ‘The Cloudy Years’ directed by Mehdi Karampour.
